116 Preface وَقالُوا اتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ وَلَدًا ۗ سُبحانَهُ ۖ بَل لَهُ ما فِي السَّماواتِ وَالأَرضِ ۖ كُلٌّ لَهُ قانِتونَAhmed AliTo God belong the East and the West. Wherever you turn the glory1 of God is everywhere: All-pervading is He and all-knowing. Literally face, vajha, the front or surface, which in the case og God would be His glory, or presence.
